Dear Readers,

It is with great sadness that we opened the week with such tragic news of a maniac taking innocent people’s lives in a senseless act of violence. Our thoughts and prayers are with the lost souls as well as their families and dear loved ones.

Concerts, music festivals, and other events bring us together as people as we enjoy the entertainment together and take a break from the worries in our lives and the world for a moment.

The bravery and honorable acts of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Las Vegas Fire Department, the doctors, ambulance, EMTs, etc. shows that they not just doing their jobs, but they have the willingness and want to help others.

The stories of people helping each other in the time of need and time of chaos gives us hope that we are strong together and that when it comes down to it we love each other as human beings.

We don’t have all the answers as to why this keeps happening in our country but we have to rigorously work at solutions.
