No one ever knew if he would return to the ring after retiring at such a young age.
After getting his suspension lifted, overcoming and working through mental illness, and losing a tremendous amount of weight, the return of the Gypsy King is upon us.
Tyson Fury has definitely had his share of downs but he is the lineal heavyweight champion of the world and he will once again climb into the ring tonight and put the heavyweight division on notice.
Fury had teased his return for years and many doubted he would return after the huge weight gain among the other issues he was dealing with.
Tyson Fury is on the right path looking great and has lost so much weight and looks to have his wits about him. He looks to be in a better place physically and mentally than he was one year ago.
Today we will see how much ring rust Fury has to shake off and what kind of boxing shape he’s in. Tyson is up against an undefeated opponent and I’ve never seen him fight but Fury towers over him at 6’9″ while Seferi measures at 5’11”.
If this proves too easy for Tyson then surely he will fight better competition a couple more times before getting in the ring with the likes of top heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder.
